01 March 2018 DHAKA – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka participated in the three-day International Kite and Poster Exhibition at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on February 28 to March 02 as part of the Embassy’s commitment to foster cultural cooperation between the Philippine and Bangladesh.

21 February 2018 DHAKA – The Philippines, represented by Ambassador Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo, was featured as the opening act/performance at the main cultural program commemorating the International Mother Language Day of Bangladesh (BD) on February 21. The main program was organized by the Shilpakala Academy and was held at BD’s Shaheed Minar national monument, which was erected to commemorate the BD martyrs killed during the 1952 Bengali Language Movement when BD was still East Pakistan.
