Campaign for VIGAN, ILOCOS SUR, PHILIPPINES to be one of the New7Wonders Cities

The Philippines continues to wave its flag as the country’s oldest surviving Spanish colonial city, VIGAN in Ilocos Sur garnered a spot in the 28 semi-finalists in the global search for the New7Wonders Cities.

From 77 cities around the world that joined in the campaign, only 28 were chosen by popular vote and advised by a panel of experts to qualify in the final search for the New7Wonders Cities.

The 28 cities will undergo a series of elimination round.  Based on cast votes, the entries will be trimmed down to Top 21 to be announced in July 2014, Top 14 in October 2014 and finally the New7Wonders Cities will be declared in December 2014.

All Filipinos nationwide and abroad are called for their support in bringing again the Philippines to the global roster of the World’s Wonders.  VOTE NOW!
