27 February 2018 DHAKA – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh represented by Third Secretary Ms. LV de Guzman and Assistance to Nationals (ATN) Officer Ms. Joany Margallo-Lucas, called on Deputy Minister of Economic Development and concurrent Chairman of the Labor Relations Authority (LRA) Mr. Abdul Rasheed Nafiz on February 27 to discuss matters relating to migrant workers rights and concerns in the Maldives. There are approximately 4,000 overseas Filipino workers in Maldives according to the records of Maldives Immigration as of December 2017.

01 March 2018 DHAKA – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka participated in the three-day International Kite and Poster Exhibition at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on February 28 to March 02 as part of the Embassy’s commitment to foster cultural cooperation between the Philippine and Bangladesh.
