PHL Ambassador to Bangladesh Calls On Sri Lanka Foreign Ministry Officials
06 February 2018 COLOMBO – Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo (middle), accompanied by Philippine Honorary Consul in Colombo Hugh Sriyal Dissanayake (left), met with Legal Affairs Senior Director General C.A.H.M. Wijeratne and East Asia and Pacific Affairs Director General K.S. Jayaweera of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (right) on 05 February 2018. They exchanged views on the relations between their two countries in general and discussed steps towards the conduct of an exploratory dialogue prior to negotiations on the proposed Philippines-Sri Lanka Transfer of Sentenced Persons Agreement (TSPA). Ambassador Bandillo was in Colombo to attend the celebration of the70th Independence Day of Sri Lanka on 04 February 2018.
