09 August 2018, DHAKA – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka joined the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) heads of mission, diplomatic officials, and staff in commemorating the 51st founding anniversary of ASEAN at the Indonesian Embassy grounds on 08 August 2018.

DHAKA 10 July 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh spearheaded the “Pistahan sa Bangladesh” on 29 June 2018, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine independence.

DHAKA 20 May 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Bangladesh has expressed its appreciation to authorities in the southeastern port city of Chittagong for ensuring the safety of members of the Filipino Community there.

BANGLADESH TECHNICAL EDUCATION BOARD CALL ON PH AMBASSADOR
DHAKA 17 May 2018 – Officials of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) called on Ambassador Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo to discuss their desire to enter into a partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). During the meeting, BTEB Chairman Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman requested the Embassy’s assistance in signing a Memorandum of Understanding with TESDA, which is known in Bangladesh as the agency responsible for upgrading the technical and vocational skills of Filipino overseas workers. BTEB is the government agency responsible for developing and regulating technical and vocational education in Bangladesh. END.
