28 April 2022 - On his return from Manila, Ambassador Alan L. Deniega met with the newly arrived Ambassador of Qatar, H.E.Seraya Ali Mahdi Saeed Al Qahtani, a distinguished career diplomat of his country.
Aside from the work of diplomats in Dhaka, the two heads of mission also discussed the state of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Qatar. Several thousands of skilled Filipino workers are being hosted by this dynamic Middle Eastern country, along with other nationalities, including Bangladeshis.
The country of Qatar is also famous for Qatar Airways, a state-owned flag-carrier which was also mentioned by Ambassador Deniega during this call as one of the best airlines in the world.
