In the bilateral discussion with the President, Ambassador Deniega stated that he looks forward to celebrating the 50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Bangladesh in February next year. He said that the economic future of both countries are widely recognized in the world as very bright and promising, and as such, enriching the bilateral relations in order to benefit the peoples of the two countries is very important.

After the ceremonies in Bangabhaban, the Ambassador and Mme. Deniega were welcomed in the Philippine Embassy by the Philippines’ Honorary Consul General in Chattogram, Mr. Mohammed A. Awwal and his spouse.
