Among other issues of mutual concern, Ambassador Bandillo brought up the subject of the several draft bilateral agreements which he hoped would be signed within the year. The draft MOUs include agreements on labor which would address concerns of OFWs in Maldives, and on health cooperation which would include Maldives as a work destination for Philippine doctors, nurses and other professionals in the medical field.

Ambassador Bandillo also called on Additional Secretary on Multilateral Affairs Mr. Javed Faizal to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the international arena.  END.
