The ASEAN Committee in Dhaka, established in 2013, aims to deepen links between Bangladesh and the ASEAN Missions in through the conduct of activities that would promote the identity of ASEAN in the country as well as to strengthen ties between the ACD and Bangladeshi authorities and institutions.

The ADC is comprised of the diplomatic missions of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam in Bangladesh. The Philippine Embassy will serve as the Chair of the ACD until June 2019. END.
