The mobile Embassy team, headed by Third Secretary and Vice-Consul LV I. De Guzman, processed passport renewals and passport validity extensions for the Filipino Community in Maldives. A total of 109 consular transactions were served.

The team also received and processed 59 applications for the registration of overseas absentee voters for the 2019 Philippine senatorial elections, as well as requests for reactivation of overseas voting records and transfer of records from the Philippines and other Foreign Service Posts.

The outreach mission is part of the efforts by the Department of Foreign Affairs to reach out to overseas Filipinos, providing assistance to Filipino nationals and consular services worldwide. END.
