Discussed during the meeting were Dhakabashi’s proposal for cultural youth exchange programs with its Philippine counterparts, business and trade opportunities in the Philippines, the formation of a Philippine-Bangladesh Friendship Association and organizing a henna festival in partnership with the Embassy. Dakabashi President Mr. Sukur Salek was advised to send a letter detailing their laudable plans for the Embassy to identify the appropriate cultural organization in the Philippines that can best respond to the proposed youth exchange program, as well as Dhakabashi’s other cultural projects.
