PHL EMBASSY IN BANGLADESH CONDUCTS 1ST CONSULAR MOBILE MISSION, OVERSEAS VOTERS REGISTRATION IN SRI LANKA FOR 2018

22 March 2018 DHAKA – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh conducted its first Mobile Consular Mission in Sri Lanka at the Global Towers Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 17-18 March. Third Secretary and Vice-Consul LV I. De Guzman led the mobile consular team in processing a total of 139 consular transactions such as passport renewals, passport validity extensions, and civil registrations.
Applications for the registration of overseas absentee voters for the 2019 Philippine Senatorial Elections as well as requests for reactivation of overseas voting records and transfer of records from the Philippines and other Foreign Service Posts were also processed by the team during the said mission.
