DCCI is the premier Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh, with more than four thousand members representing a vast spectrum of businesses from MSMEs to large conglomerates. Ambassador Bandillo was invited by Mr. Abul Kasem Khan, DCCI President, together with the DCCI Board of Directors to discuss opportunities to strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations between the Philippines and Bangladesh.

Mr. Khan mentioned the importance of direct air links between Dhaka and Manila as a catalyst in enhancing bilateral trade volume, and praised the Philippines for its highly qualified overseas workers. For his part, Ambassador Bandillo informed the group about the preferred investment activities in the Philippines and other priority areas under the 2017 Investment Priority Plan. He then invited the officers and members of the Chamber to visit the Philippines and to participate in the country’s trade fairs and exhibitions. END
