PHL Ambassador to Bangladesh Conducts Lecture at the National Defense College of Bangladesh

Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo delivering his lecture at the National Defense College.

13 October 2017 DHAKA – Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo delivered a lecture at the National Defense College (NDC) of Bangladesh at the invitation of NDC Officials on September 27.

Ambassador Bandillo’s lecture covered the Philippines’ general foreign policy and national defense policy outlooks, the Philippines’ role as Chair in the 50^th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the notable achievements of ASEAN for the past 50 years, and Philippines-Bangladesh bilateral relations.

Ambassador Bandillo was welcomed by National Defense College Officials headed by Rear Admiral Anwar-Ul-Islam of the National Defense College of Bangladesh, and delivered his lecture to a class comprised of defense and civil service officials from over 10 participating countries from the South Asian, African, and North American regions.
