In celebration of the National Literature Month this April, and to commemorate the Quincentennial of the Circumnavigation of the World, the Philippine Embassy, in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Mindanao Creative and Cultural Workers Group (MCCGW), invites you to a week-long series of academic conferences to be broadcast through the DFA Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/dfaphl) from 26 to 30 April 2021.

The event titled “Pagguho (Decline/Emergence): Literature and the Pandemic” will bring together various indigenous writers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The online conference is open to all students, professionals, academicians, Filipino community members, diplomats, and all those who are interested to learn about Philippine literature.
